CHALLENGES IN BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY ADOPTION – How to organize use cases network – 19 April 2022, 10:00
In spite of blockchain technology attractivity, there are also significant challenges and difficulties in the implementation of that could not only hinder the potential benefits of this technology but could also exacerbate existing problems relating to areas such as free access to markets, integration of actors and asymmetries in the treatment of small and medium-sized enterprises . One main concern is the complexity of implementation, the lack of trained professionals, processing times or cybersecurity implications.
The diversified nature of existing information systems, as well as the big differences between implementing blockchains that are open and closed to a particular vendor, additional costs could be generated to achieve interoperability between systems, and this could have an impact especially on SMEs. The mass use of blockchain associated with a single technology provider could also create entry barriers to certain markets or even strengthen the concentration of the sector with the resulting challenges this represents for free competition. Our seminar is not targeting to deal in a abstract manner regarding barriers in adoption, but rather to try to organize use cases networks able to offer digital solutions to overcome the challenges in specific sectors. Even more, the workshop will look into financing opportunities for adoption of the technology.
THE DIGITAL SOLUTIONS ARE DEDICATED TO :
