DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CURRENT CRISIS. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE WALLACHIA HUB CONSORTIUM – April 10, 2020 –
Digital transformation is beginning to become a mandatory requirement for the development of any company. On March 13 a.c. in Ploiești, we adopted the idea of developing Wallachia eHub, as a regional digitization center. The current context needs to strengthen this initiative. The current conditions of social distancing, of modifying the forms of human interaction for health protection, will accelerate the digitization processes.
Organizations of all sizes need to adapt quickly to new changes in order to remain competitive in the market. The rapid adoption of new technologies within an organization will improve their long-term performance. The digital transformation does not only refer to the understanding of technology itself, but also to the fusion between technology and the human factor, respectively managerial training and the development of new skills for employees at work.
In the discussions we will focus on the digitization needs not only of the cluster members, but at the regional level as Wallachia eHub addresses not only the cluster members, but also the regional needs of the digitalization of the business environment.
